Esports and video games rules that shape the bracket
- Early rounds are usually a single game, semifinals best of 3, the grand final best of 5.
- The grand final reset is standard: the winners-bracket team has to be beaten twice.
- Seed by ranked ladder rank or by last event.
Games and time for common sizes
Time per game is set at 40 minutes and 8 stations. Change either one in the games calculator.

Which format to use
For 16 or 32 entrants, double elimination is the default: 30 or 62 games, plus a possible reset.
Run losers-bracket games in parallel with winners games, not after them.
Use match codes so players report their own results; the organizer can overrule.

If the losers-bracket team wins the first grand final, yes.
